Well actually this wasn’t as depressing as the last soup as a standalone. It’s my Hot & Sour soup which I’m actually quite proud off. Well, proud enough of a dish that I simply made up and is comparable if not better than what I’ve tasted is many of the local places that have it on offer. But instead of using red vinegar I used black. It just tasted weak and weird with red for some reason….. Anyway, I absolutely loaded it up this time with tofu, pork, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots so it would be more filling. And it’s a much thicker soup than yesterdays so at least I’m not starving a couple of hours later like I was yesterday!
